Northumberland CVA has been commissioned by Northumberland County Council to deliver support to the Voluntary and Community Sector across the county in order to maintain the continued development of a vibrant, independent  and sustainable sector and ensure the best outcomes for individuals and communities in Northumberland.

Project Development

The service provides support to new and developing groups in a number of ways: by offering timely and quality advice and information on establishing your group, volunteer recruitment, constitutional development, and establishing policies and procedures, as well as giving access to invaluable resources via its website.

In addition to its core project development services, Northumberland CVA can provide tailored specialist support in business planning, IT support, project management and monitoring.  These additional services are chargeable.  We can identify suitable sources of funding from our funding databases and directories.  We also offer advice on funding applications and distribute a fortnightly e-bulletin that contains up-to-date funding opportunites and deadline reminders.

If you are interested in starting up a new community group, or you'd like some support with an existing group, contact Development Officer for Projects, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
